As a consumer advocate, Bonnie understands the true meaning of service and she has dedicated herself to maintaining the highest standard for each of her clients. To Bonnie, this means going beyond the nuts and bolts of listing and selling a home — it involves everything from finding banker loan officers and attorneys, to contractors and house painters. She is particularly proud of her ability to understand a buyers’ needs such that she can edit the market on their behalf and successfully find those properties that will suit them to a “T.”

Bonnie specializes in the communities of Evanston, Skokie, North Shore Suburbs, Glenview and all of Chicago North of the loop. Bonnie has been a broker since 1985 and has developed a network of resources and quality agent relationships to facilitate her work. Her patience and perseverance are evident from the beginning of the process, to the final negotiations where her calm and steady approach assure a smooth transaction.

Evanston has been home to Bonnie since 1973. She has two children and three grandchildren, all who reside in Evanston and who attend both District 65 and 202 schools. Bonnie has been involved in local community and political organizations serving as Past President of the Democratic Party of Evanston. On the Council of the Frances Willard House Museum. She is on the Age Friendly Housing Committee and on the Steering Committee of the Joining Forces for Affordable Housing in Evanston. Past President of the Women’s Council of Realtors North Shore Network. On the Committee of the Government and Political issues Committee of the North Shore Barrington Board of Realtors. A Past President of the Piven Theatre Workshop board.

Bonnie was elected as the Evanston Township Assessor from 2009 until Evanston Township was dissolved in 2014.  As the past Assessor Bonnie can be very helpful in making sure sellers and buyers receive the exemptions that they are entitled to on their Real Estate Tax bill.  Bonnie is also a Senior Real Estate Specialist. She has worked with many seniors who were moving to other states to be near their family.  She has helped family members and seniors with negotiations, oversees last minute property issues and understands the sensitivity of selling a home where the senior has lived for a long time.  She also understands it is important to stay in touch with other family members. She makes sure the property is ready for the market and makes sure she gets the best price for her seller. Bonnie makes it easier for out of state sellers to sign the real estate contract by using eDoc.
